CPAC College Tours Inspire Academic Achievement |
During the 2008-09 fraternal year, the College Park Alumni Chapter continued its College Tour Program. During the year, the chapter's Guide Right committee brought members of its Kappa Leadership Development League (Kappa League) to five colleges: Tennessee State University, Fisk University, Meharry Medical College, North Carolina A&T, and Johnson C. Smith University. On each tour, the young men were exposed to the campus lifestyle at the school and were provided curriculum and scholarship information for the university. The purpose of the College Tour Program is to inspire young men to continue their education after high school and to provide them with the information and exposure necessary to make their dreams a reality. |
